Hey Peeps,

A word of caution, learning foiling may result in the following conditions:-

Changing the colour of SB arrows from Red to Green
Purchasing a seat harness
Desiring to kite on the river instead of the ocean
Wanting to start flying large ram air foil kites.

I fear the condition may be permanent. Take heed I say!

This is all your fault, Darren. I seem to remember you extolling the virtues of a foil kite? "they're not as hard to fly as everyone says" or some other such "inspirational" nonsense.

Red arrows...check
Seat harness...check
River?...not yet. Pending.
Foil kite...check

It's the end of the world as we know it.

I find I'm complaining the wind is too strong now, used to be the other way around. Bloody foils, started with one, now have 4 ??

Hmm I don't fit the mould. Always had foil kites. High wind is my favourite. Only kite in the sea. Don't have a seat harness.

High winds in the ocean = big swell=best foiling conditions (with a small LEI)

You obviously haven't yet tried an long offshore upwinder before the seabreeze cranks, then going back carving the occasional swell when it does come in ... .
