I was like Nathan but got off the Axis train at the Art station. By the axis train I mean continually buying the latest and greatest, and the new fuses and tails to make it work. It's endless as Adrian is a design machine pumping out new wings and is backed by a very talented hype crew making them sound a million times better than the previous design.
For me HPS was better than Art V1 - I found the HA foils have unnecessarily high take off and stall speed for my riding style, and the trade off of glide wasn't required given we have kite power on tap.
I did the small kite thing with all the 3m, 4m, 5m, 6m peak 4s and clouds etc but now ride a 9m single strut 90% of the time too, at over 100kgs.
I replaced axis with a Triton T1 - the last foil I've bought and will buy (for kiting) until they make a T2. Which I will buy on day one.
T1 is like a german Shepard - not the best at anything but 2nd best at everything. I was riding with an Art 880 kite foiler and could match his pace*, turn tighter, take off earlier and ride way slower without stalling, and all without a sword under me. And riding something that felt alive and not on rails.
www.tritonfoils.com/t1.html*Your results may vary, T1 claims 25kts top speed and I feel just under that is achievable, it's as fast as I like to go anyway.
