thats the key mate, lots of lift from the kite and also the foil! the foils needs to stay lefty through the weightless manoeuvre
Problem is, I like riding the foil under-powered, versus riding the small directional very powered. Just sheeting in and hovering a few inches above the board makes it easy, but when I have to carefully time when the kite flies over the zenith for max lift in low wind, it's just a fail-fest. The flying duck-tack looks "easier". But I think that's a whole other level yet...
Yesterday I was over-powered on the foil, tried a tack and had the power to float myself...but watched as the board spun 360s under me. Contrary bugger.
