saw a guy with foil kite tangled and spiralling on the beach at scarbs on thurs arvo, so I tacked down to see if I could help.
Saw he had a foil board as well. As I arrived he had asked an old guy onbeach to catch kite for him,and was able to get it to hand.

just wondering if it was a kitemare on the water that led to this scenario or a bungled launch? Curious to know.

Must have been stressful as it was a perky 25kn at the time. Did look like a reasonably small foil, I was on 6m wave kite and cooking. I have no foil kite or board experience but maybe interested one day, so keen to understand the situation. Plus I'm a sticky beak

Which brand of foil kite ? I know a couple of foilers in the area.

It was mostly light green, maybe a bit of white and black, didn't note the brand sorry.

His foil board looked grey/black like carbon construction for the deck
