Just before noticing this thread, I'd posted this video below a review of the Liquid Force Foil Fish.

I may as well post it here in case anyone's looking for first time tips.

Liquid Force describe it as a tutorial "from the parking lot to your first water starts". Apparently, it's the first in a series.

Anyway, there's some good information, including safety tips, for first attempts.
