To be honest once you've got used to systematically packing away the bridle lines and unpacking them in reverse, (very quick and easy), the bridles are a non issue. If your beach is full of rubbish you may get the occasional stick in your bridle if you're not careful.
The bridles on a Peak4 are about as simple as they come for a bridled kite, and with a setup and pack down time way faster than any other kite it's really an advantage not an issue.
As for water relaunching, mine rarely hit the water, but when they have I've been surprised how most of the time I can relaunch quite easily. I'd say with a bit of practice, and as long as there's wind, relaunching is not a significant issue. Mind you I've not followed my own advice and haven't practiced in preparation for a crash. But still managed to relaunch most of the time anyway
