THIS IS A POSSIBLE BUT HOPEFULLY OTHERS WILL GIVE ADVICE..
NO DIRECT HEAT
HEAT in WATER = 100C -- tap with a rubber mallett
If I was working through this .. I would take as much advise as possible but I would be following heat option..
HEAT in OIL 10 degree increments I would not go over 150C ---- 120C would be my desperate point
High temp oil so 120C would but ok but would definitely keep anything carbon away from direct heat. Use cooking thermometer be careful.
Heat trick relies on different expansion rates between 2 pieces.
