I got good deal on KFA MK3 foil. I'm new to this and like to get your advise. Is this a good setup for beginner?

I'm only a beginner myself so don't know for certain - but it looks fast and fragile. There would be better beginner foils out there, but it's what you have now so I'm sure you'll make it work. While it will be a challenge to learn on, the plus side is that once you do, you won't outgrow it in a hurry. Looks really nice too. Love the board as well.

Nice set up but definitely not a beginner rig ,that long mast and high aspect wings will be a bitch to learn on. Plus those wings look pretty sharp so expect a few shin dings when learning. But as Duke said once you are past the learning curve you have a great set up and won't need to upgrade.

Just pick your days and low current areas (with no sand banks) when learning and use a slightly over powered kite. Make sure those straps are super loose and put a rear one on for learning helps heaps with the starts. It looks like it has ali extension in the fuselage. Don't know what that is ask the seller but maybe remove it.

Fantastic looking rig! Once you get the basic feel for it, that foil will be your best friend. Well done!

Wow nice ride ! I wouldn't say that's very beginner friendly but if you have good kite control you will be absolutely fine. Wear a sacrificial wetsuit if you don't want to cut yourself up. Boots could be wise too.

the further back the rear foil is set should improve foil/board stability, good for learning.. remove the extension yourself when you're ready to rip gybes is a great option, adjustable bonus !

yes the previous owner added extension for stability during learning period , it's stainless steel solid peace and I will experiment with it at some point . Original foil was made by KFA Australia and it's hard to get any parts from them. Would be great if they offered different front wings for light wind and learning.

Didn't know that pmk , great advice thanks.

I been on this type of foil for a total of 6 months now and havnt been bitten by it, once you get over the learning bit it will serve you well.Learn how to fall and glide away from the foil and dont look back for a bit till the dust settles in each fall, if you try to slow down too quick the foil could be follwoing closly behind ;)
