The main difference is the 2019 model is designed/built much stronger & also has more wings to choose from.

So, you shouldn't need to upgrade for a while - just add different size wings if needed.

I think the kite foil is going to the shovel head mount like the surf+ fuselage, so that'll be a more rigid mount and you can put the other wings on.

IIRC the 2018 mast was the first of the new design, which is twice as stiff as the old one for a few grams more.

There's also fuselage length and rear wing options too.

And for the boards with volume, there's now four sizes...!

As far as I'm aware, the 2018 Axis freeride 'k series' (kite series) foil was constructed with G10 composite wings and only came in two sizes; 530 x 145 mm (standard) or 530 x 125 (speed). In 2019 they switched to carbon front wings (rear wing still G10), with three size options (545, 570? and 600 mm).

The physical dimensions of the 2019 k-series fuselage and masts are identical to the 2018. I recently upgraded my 2018 G10 front wing for a 600mm 2019 carbon wing to give me better low end in light winds. Have heard though that the 2019 fuselage and masts are stiffer and more responsive than the 2018 kit.

The 2019 s-series (surf series) has a different fuselage (larger 4 bolt wing attachment) and has many wing sizes available from 680 mm width to 102 mm (+?).

Where did you get the K series CF 600 Wing from?
