OK, this may be a bit hard, so if nobody gets it in a day or two, I'll add something to give it scale.
1, hint though, I found it after a mate had visited, took a phone call to him before I knew what it was.

I suspect it's older than that, I was using metal ones that long ago, the one I have belonged to my grandfather and he was born in the mid 1880s. So my guess is more like a 100 years old

No to all the above, but chook's getting warm.
And hint 2. it only looks like foam, because I had to severely edit the brightness/contrast to reveal the holes, it's solid black plastic

Well done Cobra!!! Thought it was going to take longer than that, it had me stumped, and I had it in my hand!
My mate arrived on his motor bike, dumped his helmet and goggles on the table, and that was there when he left.
I hope you've got a good supply of pics.
