The above picture is a good method, as the bait will stay off the bottom and bounce along as you slowly draw the line to you - there are any number of methods for tailor - if there is no weed - you put a running bean sinker above a swivel, then maybe two and a bit foot leader of stronger line - to ganged hooks, with a mulie - as you draw this through the water it looks fairly realistic as, it "swims". Or attach a white blob float again above a swivel, and leader with ganged hooks and mulie - will keep the bait near the surface - which is good if the bottom is rocky or weedy. Tailor are voracious feeders - so I think you can catch them pretty well on most rigs. Been a few about the beaches here in Mandurah lately - got 8 a few weeks back.
