i can see sooooo many crew shooting themselves trying those stunts.... round the back done wrong could result in a trip to the buttock reconstruction unit.

+1 on that

I loved the throw - load - shoot antics the best. Handy for the times those pesky burglars are running away and you are out of ammo...

Not to take anything away from the guy, he's obviously a good shot, and I try not to upset guys with guns as a general life rule but...to say that "you don't have to be a good shot...it aims itself" WTF?

a couple of things I'd like to know before he gets entered into 'legend' status in my eyes...

-how brittle are the clay targets?
-what size shot is he using?
-how many takes did that vid take?

also...shooting the empty cartridges after they're ejected...that's like using fish to catch fish! (oh, hang-on I do that)

The targets are designed to shatter easily and do not require a direct hit.

The cartridges are probably using shot around 1-3mm diameter which allows for quite a few to be loaded in a single cartridge.

Going b memory you can affect the spread of the shot by adjusting the "choke" on the end of the barrel, full choke gives a tight spread whilst, no choke allows for the pellet spread to cover a larger area.

My brother had a semi auto shotgun similar to that used back when they were legal, lot of fun blasting on the target range but hard on the shoulder, chuck in solid slugs or poly core slugs and they are devastating.
