spam? so cynical. Jeez.

I was just out taking pics around the shopping area across from my marina in Portsmouth harbour (UK) and saw a load of star wars characters. I took a pic of the guy who was collecting charity money to help local kids, which was in return for a load of people having their pics taken with the characters.

I spoke to the charity guy who was collecting and just wanted to find out about the charity. As I was chatting, and took a pic of his various badges, the storm trooper leaned into the shot.

It's got nothing to do with spam, because there was no monty python going on.
spam is when you're trying to surreptitiously flog something or gain something.

I just thought it was fun. especially as I'm a bit of a star wars fan.

I think the new Star Wars movie will be fantastic. Went to see Spectre last week. Awesome non stop action.

It sounded like you were making a film. You did say you were 'documenting' and then excited about the new film.
That sounds like you're flogging a new doco you're making.

nah, I'm doing a photo-doco as part of my university studies/research for a future PhD, it's all stills not video.

I've got to hand this first assessment in early January.

I'm focusing on covering my local area between Gosport, the ferry and Portsmouth (UK) and cultural perceptions of the areas.
I compared notes on Monday with someone else doing research, they were investigating sculpture and fine art. ya know fancy stuff.
by comparison, I was out Saturday night wit my camera studying the local night life and got a cracking shot of a lady with a flexible phallus, as she pointed it at me and flexed it like a pump action weapon.
she had already wanged a policeman with it first.

Honestly, I couldn't say which of us got the best deal on the research project...

Bond infiltrates an organisation and has dramatic chases and kills a lot of people. At one point he is killing the unarmed pilot of a crashing helicopter, which seems not so smart a thing to do.
Bond and the Bond girl are able to go shopping for designer tuxedos and evening dresses while on the run on a train, in the middle of nowhere, somehow.
Bond locates the secret laboratory that is hidden in a famous meteorite impact crater.
Bond is captured.
Bond is given the grand tour of the secret facility and bad guy's entire plan is explained to him.
Bond is not shot in the head even though bad guy has inifinite possibilities to do so.
Bond is killed slowly giving him time to escape
Bond blows up top secret evil lair that is an offshore PC support call centre (?) hidden in a famous crater by blowing up the gas tanks that are inexplicably everywhere.
Bond walks away from explosion without looking back.
Bond girl gets captured (can't recall how. must have been asleep)
Bond is captured again and again not shot in the head.
Bond escapes. Again.
Q stops worldwide evil data surveillance system by giving access to offshore developers, who break it instantly.
Bond finds himself in over elaborate death trap. Escapes
Bond stops bad guy. Gets girl.

but it has nice locations and Monica Belluci.
Did I mention Monica Belluci? It has Monica Belluci. I don't really understand why her character was required for the plot but it has Monica Belluci. Bond basically saved her, promised her something, ****ed her, and left. I'm not even sure if she died or not. But it was Monica Belluci.
