General Discussion >Shooting the breeze says it all.
Everyone has something to say , and I find that there are some really interesting topics discussed, if someone doesn't like that then they maybe they should stick to a specific forum such as Windsurfing General etc.

And I don't think anyone is floating the idea that this situation should change.
But that's not what happened. What happened was that a small number of posters kept banging on about the SAME BLOOMIN' CR@P over and over again non stop in every friggin thread day after day same shyte different calendar page non stop comin out our ever lovin ears doesn't matter what the original topic as about blah blah without end same crap all over again and again... you get the picture, I'm sure. They didn't. Until numbers of people told 'em to put a sock in it and take it elsewhere. And that STILL didn't stop them.
In the end Laurie chose to step in and now they're crying. Too bad I say. This isn't a public service, it's a facility created, run and paid for by a person for whatever purposes they see fit and therefore that person is entitled to make up whatever rules they like. I think that anyone who doesn't like the rules here is entitled to find a door and use it. Plenty of other fora out there for them to use!
I am certainly not crying about anything here.
The internet to date is fairly free and open in this country.
Question is:- Is this forum free and open??
If an individual is not interested in "Chem Trails", "911 was an inside job", "Delica vs Troopy" or any other topic, why in the name of sanity would that individual enter into the discussion.
I am not interested in surfing/wind/kite/SUP so I don't even look in those forums let alone make any comment in them. Why would I??
Does "General Discussion" mean "General Discussion" or "General Discussion only if a select few of us like you"?
