gday- me and my kids are going to stay at rotto from the 19th - 23rd september. i wanted to try and get my 4.5 mtr alum dinghy type boat with front steering over. it would be great to get it there but i think i would only take it when the swell is lower than 1.5 mtrs and the wind is on the red on the seabreese graphs. does this sound reasonable and is there any other alternative? we,ve been out to five fathom and mewstones etc no probs many times.
