^^^ My boat exactly (for 15 years). The best thing is I would call the missus 10mins out and whilst you 'winders' and 'winchers' were using the left and right of the ramp, the good lady would reverse straight down the middle and I'd simply drive the boat on. No interruption to traffic (or damage to ramp - only the rear of the trailer was under water) and she'd drive forward as soon as the boat was hooked up with me in the boat. I jump out after she pulled forward and drive home - easy!
The only faster way is to have a spring latch that automatically secures the boat, although after seeing the result of a failure sitting at an intersection - I decided not to buy one.
