Friday music fun. Like em or not, no denying the wacky Germans were light years ahead of the curve. Love how the crowd really did not know what to do or what was going on.

I reckon you must be onto it. I was going to suggest Phaedra but that's a few years later and it's technically ambient techno...

Germans again!

There's some early Pink Floyd I'd say had the roots of techno in it too.

I'd put Popcorn into the realm of first electronic hits & your right there, around 69' me thinks. A bit like Jean Michel Jarre below, it's a well composed piece of music using traditional techniques albeit pushing the boundaries.



Watched the Kraftwerk clip again this morning, its revolutionary!

Tangerine Dream, jeez... my uncle gave me that album in the late 70s. Haven't given it a single thought for decades and no idea what happened to it, great sounds to dream to. Thanks for the heads up Holy G
