Lennon caused it, he just upped and left. Too many drugs I think.

They're still around - Govindas in Northbridge is the eatery. Great cheap veggie/vegan food.
12 bucks gets you 2 massive courses and as much Lassie as you can drink.

Happy bunch of people - some of them have hell like back stories but everyone i've ever chatted to there is happy cheerful and respectful.

You see them at most events on in the city chanting banging their drums and clashing their little cymbals.

There is a bundle of Govinda's around. Although i think they are independently owned (although the 3 stores in the GC are a group), I wonder if they all are Hari's? That'd explain the Trademark use.

Back in the early mid 90's I was (ahem) a vegetarian because of a nazi girlfriend......Ate at Govindas Northbridge once a week - the halva and custard was all time
