How does going for a surf, paddle, fishing with the family etc. differ from going for a walk, buying a takeaway coffee or binge watching Twin peaks.
None of them are contact sports, Just some people are better at the last two.

There are too many inconsistencies in what is OK and what is not, even in the job scene, a building site with 50 guys on it all using the same toilet is fine, yet painting someones nails is forbidden.

All our beach access is banned for Easter. No nothing at the beach. Why? .....To stop the D&@k Heads driving down from Melbourne to go for a surf. Last weekend was ridiculous, so many people surfing ,swimming and lying on the beach. Didn't go out as it just wasn't the right thing to do. Great call by our council to do this and hopefully stop the craziness

Fantastic, this social isolation thing is working.

Lots of people are having surgery deferred (me included), urgent surgery is still happening though. Personally, I'd rather have surgery deferred because of this social isolation thingy, rather than have it deferred because there was no social isolation and every ward was overflowing with COVID patients and every hospital loading dock was choked with refrigerated containers...

Isn't that surprisingly good, even excellent news?! It appears we have avoided a catastrophe of, well, biblical proportions. All this just by staying home and watching as much on-demand TV and movies as we can imagine. How easy is that?
