Have sold shop and house and bought a houseboat. Need advice on a de-salinator for the water supply. Any one got any tips please? Seahorse 7

I believe Spectra are the way to go, fully automatic with back flushing etc but they are also expensive. One thing to note is most yachts go offshore to make water as the quality inshore isn't clean enough and clogs the filters.
