I must have missed it. Nothing on SBS website, other than Season 3 repeats, which was the best season I thought so far. So when is it starting again here!? Someone at work said they've already showed it! WT?

The last 2 minutes of episode 2 from season 5 are going to give you nightmares.

I think they've done really well to keep this show interesting. Character development and plots have been very well thought out. And most of all, the willingness to continually kill off popular characters has been surprising.

Will they have the balls to kill off Karl, or Rick, Michonne, Maggie or Glen? I'm not looking forward to it, but I'm guessing the answer is yes, which is one thing that helps keep the show so raw and fresh. You never know who is going to buy it at any moment.

It is interesting to see this picture from Issue #19 of the comic book series, which is of course Michonne. I wonder how closely the TV show follows the comic books (that the show is based upon)?

*edit* I just read the Wikipedia article on The Walking Dead comic strip, and was amazed at how closely the TV series is following the comic strip. I had to stop reading half-way through because it is so similar that it would have told me what is going to happen in the TV show. I guess this explains why the TV show has remained good - they already have a good narrative to follow.

Does the comic go off into all the unnecessary talking that some of the characters do? I was cheering when they killed off Rick's wife.

The comic strip has a lot more detail about the characters, which is skipped over in the show. For example, Tyreese used to be an NFL player, he has a romantic relationship with Carol, before being seduced by Michonne in the prison. I guess this is typical of most screen adaptions, where there just isn't time to include everything.

Ha, ha, yeah, sometimes you want a main character killed of. I was cheering when Andrea was bitten. In the comic strip, Carl shoots Shane dead, but for the same reason that Rick stabbed him in the TV show. Once the TV show is finished, I might read the comic strip for all the additional story lines.

This is the best thing about the Walking Dead.
