Looking for recommendations for outboard servicing (mercury) in Mandurah area.

Mobile would be good. Prefer to watch and learn if possible rather than drop into a shop.

Any recommendations? (or stay clear of?)

Cheers

Hey Rod, i sent you Sonny Tilbury's details but he is more Rockingham. One of the best in Perth though so he is busy..

As for watching, well their is a saying "The price is the price" Or its double if you want to watch, normally triple if you've already started the job

Great trade to get into, even I'm struggling these days for reliable service

S'all good, I haven't started anything, just a normal service.

Outboards are a new beast to me, bikes & cars I'm fairly comfortable with; neither of those will leave me up the proverbial creek without a paddle if I fuss it up though

Yeah... I've heard that from a number of sources, hence the need to find someone else.

This guy did mine when doing a service on a mates boat,
I'd had it in a few times with a carby drama, never run properly
He gave everything a full strip down its never run so sweet, he's Perth way so maybe worth a call, out of a few I've used he's been the best

He's mobile

Yep James is also great..

Yamaha really need the carbys to be spot on, otherwise they run like hairy goats..
