I am not sure its that practical though - cooking out the back is not a good plan when the weather is crap. But I thought it was a dam good effort. This one is worth watching just so you can read the comments

^^^ Nice conversion but as it's a VW it will leave you stranded in regional Australia with a busted waterpump and a $5000 repair bill.

I'm heading back to Oz soon and plan on buying a van to travel around for 6 months or so. Been watching Gumtree and Carsales, geez it's hard to spot a good buy. All the ex tradies vans have been flogged and have no windows for ventilation in the rear, the fitted out vans have huge km on the odometer and are priced at a premium.

Thinking about just buying a Tarago or similar people mover and fitting it out because there are more in the market and they haven't all been driven as hard.

I reckon that free to advertise websites like Gumtree can inflate asking prices. Anyone can have a crack at selling their car at whatever price they like and if it doesn't sell, they lose nothing. Meanwhile, serious sellers on Gumtree are basing their asking prices on what others are asking.

At least on Carsales you get vendors paying to advertise but not many vans in my price range on this site. I know I'll find one, it's frustrating though.

Fairly sure this has been up before, but a fair while ago. Very innovative but not cheap unless you copy it.

My van!!! Once you live in a caravan you would never go back to a delivery van with a mattress.
A small van like this fits into two car parking spaces with car and is easy to move around at 500kg.
I wasn't sure how I would take to the land after having my own moving island, but there are heaps of free camps away from those monkeys!
