Has anyone successfully restored deleted files on an SD card?

No, I haven't.
But then I've never tried.
Come to think of it I don't know what an SD card is.

yes I did that with a phone (same concept),
I honestly can't remember what SW I used, I simply googled it and used whatever looked good to me & had good reviews.
your chances will depend what has happened with the SD card, e.g. accidentaly deleted or corrupted card.
from memory, most software will have a free or demo version, which will allow you to retrieve limited numbr of files and you will have to pay for the full version. I managed to retrieve most of the images I accidentaly deleted but not the videos. I hope you have more luck.

Things alike it from a memory stick, also claims to do it from damaged SD.
I actually bought this because the trial ware only allows a particular quantity retrieved.
Most trialware of this type of thing is one time use so you are lucky to achieve a stinking thing.
