Of course they do.

It appears that they don't agree with it, and have little or no choice in the matter.

If Coke pulls out, because this really is negative for them, perhaps more appropriate sponsors will fill the space.

They say, " any publicity is good publicity". perhaps not this time.

Their bosses (sponsors) have told (ordered) them to stop doing it so obviously had an affect. There goes another freedom into the corporate maw.
