Artist getting carried away there?
I'm pretty confused now, I had in my head something like this
which I would be fine with, like a local wet&wild for the kids when they're older.
But that wave pool x nightclub thing? what is it exactly? I mean no-one's going to steve irwin way for nightlife, it's a trillion dollars in a cab to get home anywhere.
I guess that's why they are putting in accommodation there as well...plus the Beerwah golf club has the coldest beer on the sunny coast...well it did when I was there

Yep well cold beer is awesome, no argument there, but I'm struggling to see the fit, is anyone going to say "hey I'm going to go stay at the wave pool?"
I mean seaworld nara does ok but it has the beach and Surfers as well as "just" sea world.
I guess they're saying they'll have some kinda canoe adventure trail, and water slides.
I think a surfable wave pool would be awesome, if it was comparable to cable skiiing in terms of money & ride time. I can see how with a round or oval wave pool someone could get on a wave and ride it round for a few laps, which opens up a whole new dimension.
I'm a terrible surfer but I'd pay decent money for a virtually endless wave that also gave me a chance of getting tubed.
I think the whole thing's very experimental though, this would be a world first - if it works
