It looks better than the last lot.

I think its takes place the Return of the Jedi, so will be episode seven. Episode four was the first Star Wars movie. Sort of fits in place with a star destroyer laying derelict in the sand.

Looks good. I only ever saw Star Wars, Return of Jedi and Empire Strikes back. Didn't like the look of the other ones. But this one looks good. Saw the first Star Wars movie at a outback drive in as a kid in Port Hedland WA. The stars as a backdrop to that movie was the best ever.

The first I ever saw of Star Wars was what I could glimpse from the car window as we drove past the Port Hedland drive in. My folks were too tight to actually take us to see it.

That's very interesting. I have the Blu-Ray set, but cannot bring myself to watch Eps 1, 2 & 3 again... I think I'll have to be laid up on the couch with a broken leg or something...

Yeah I was so disappointed by 1 & never watched 2 or 3, even though apparently they were way way better. So Machete order makes sense, drop 1 and you don't miss anything you need storywise, and you avoid the annoying kid, endless pod racing (blatant games/toys plot vehicle) and even worse jar jar.

I think all three were equally sus and you haven't really missed anything .... and i think they killed off the only reasonable acting (neeson) in ep1.

You'd think the big name actors in the prequels would sense something was off, question their own performances and what was being asked of them before it was too late, even though they probably felt special to star in what they thought would be such iconic flicks

Got a lot of hope for this new one

Episodes 3 & 4
After Aninkin turns and Darth Sidious has his apprentice they start out to complete "The Great Jedi Purge"
This ened in most Jedis being exterminated or exiled and marked the beginning of the "Order of the Sith Lords"
Luke and his sister were then hidden form Darth Vader and The Emperor because of the threat they posed to his reign.

A couple of years ago they were invented as part of a religious tax dodge + protest vote thingo, much like the "Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster" crew and that Scientology mob.

But instead of colanders and pirate voices [or dianetic meters] - the Jedi's get smicko light sabres and blasters to mess about with.

Try starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Jedi_Order

Additionally there is whole series of novels from different authors that canon the original series (4,5,6).

So is this a sequel to a prequel?or a prequel to a sequel or a sequel to a sequel
I am well confused

Not sure about all the hype, they are okay to watch but they are nothing really special.
