Noice, but usually the path less taken is less taken for a good reason.

I think there was something about this poem on QI or a similar program.

Instead of the poem saying that the choice of a path less traveled has resulted in a certain (better/more honorable?) outcome, it is really saying that the choice of path has not really changed the outcome, i.e. that you will get to the same destination no matter what. Even if you later believe that the choice of path has somehow changed the outcome.

I haven't looked at the video, but I somehow think it doesn't relate anyway.

I stopped listening as soon as he mentioned homeopathy.

It wasn't really supposed to relate. I just stuck it up there.

I know my views on medical matters have a lot of adversaries. I accept that and didn't post in order to attract debate. I did so because some people may have found what he had to say interesting.

That said I had a tooth which had had root canal therapy removed after snapping it off in an accident and was quite shocked by the state of it and having seen it would not have been at all surprised that it would have been implicated in medical problems down the road.

You would hope that an infected root canal would show up on the xrays taken by the dentist. I have X-rays every two years and I do remember her commenting that there doesn't seem to be any infection in the two root canals that I have.

Yeah, that's okay. Its just that I remembered the mention of that poem on QI, and it was a bit surprising that it sort of means the opposite of what you would think it does.
