I never tried boots on kite before today, and actually i pretty much loved. I can pop decently with flat water and when i kite with my right foot forward. Opposite, on big choppy/wavy water, and with the left foot forward, i am not able to pop at this time.
Actually i dont freestyle or unhook, i simply ride and jump as big as i can, backrolls and frontrolls, goofy, some waves and little things.
I'm thinking to switch to kite with boots even if i am not a freestyler, just because i like the way boots make more direct control of the board, but i feel like in some spot they can be little dangerous...am i wrong?
Did somebody esperienced something like that? maybe a situation when you wanna bee totally free but you are attached to the board? like in big waves + losing controls of the kite, or other situations?
On the other side i felt lot more protect my ankles and feert, but this is pretty obvious

I've heard concrete boots give great directional control. Maybe give them a go.

I love them all!
Big ones, small ones, firm ones, wobbly ones...they are so much fun!
