if you cant agree on the the shirt , good luck on the rest of the business plan !!
Fair comment, but it's not really an issue, neither of us are dead set on anything and are open to compromise.
your first post said your partner is " insisting" on a type of shirt . that is not "open to compromise"
Perhaps the wrong word. He's unfortunately a polo shirt cult convert and prefers it for himself :)
He's got no problem with me choosing something else.
As I said previously, I don't think the type of shirt matters so much, as long as all who wear a 'company shirt' are all following a the same colour code and are clean with the company logo.
Definitely a bonds type shirt I'd not go for, but there are other shirts without polo style collars that are dressier than the bonds type.
whether it's a polo, safari or traditionalbusiness shirt, I just am not keen on the collar that comes with them.
I still like the mandarin/banded collar polo, too bad they aren't common enough to get at a good price.
Will probably have to go with a normal polo for now, and upgrade to something nicer when the biz is making money

and it will
@kiterboy - lol, keep pushing buttons, I'm surprised no one has arked up at you, there's a lot of us oldies here
edit: yeah, I do agree with trousers, work or otherwise, jeans are ok too as log as they aren't crappy and worn out.
