Well it's not Lantana, it's not Bitou bush, it's not Creeping Jesus. Looks a bit like a eucalyptus. Crush a leaf. What does it smell like?

If you are on Android phone, click on image and hold. A small menu will pop up, from there select search with google lens.
You may get better results if you rotate it clockwise

Triadica sebifera seems to be the consensus of several plant identifying apps.

Well you can't pull it out now. You can't leave a seabreeze question unresolved. We need to wait a bit . If it loses leaves in winter. Harrow might be right. If it produces gum nuts in 15 years, you'll be able to home in on the exact species. Brachychitons sprout new shoots as a tight bunch. The shoots in the top right are lengthy right from the start. Like eucalyptus.

But look at the new shoots and compare to the new shoots top right in the photo of the mystery plant.

Surely would be easy enough to pull out of the ground after the first year, by which time you'll be able to identify it?

We should start running a book... Kurrajong or Triadica sebifera?

It's already over a metre tall in a month, so could be 12m in a year.

It's under our deck which is about 3.5m high.

I need also help to identify this .
It grows almost 2 m tall on my farm, spread like fire. Violet flowers. Is it pest or safe to eat by cattle?

I hope that could be lucerne? Alpha alpha?

Sqareish stem shape ? Known around here as purple top, usually sprouts in cultivated area, have not ever heard of it being noxious, so it would be a waste of time smoking it

Don't be an utter clot. Doesn't look anything like a potato.

Does resemble a choke a bit though??

Sorry Macro, can't help.

I am not gonna suggest it may be potato.

Learnt my lesson there.

Choke maybe ?

Or a purple clot of some sort ? maybe purple long clot or purple bushy clot ?

Sounds about right.
Again poison to all animals
So the only solution is to order a container load of glyphosate and spray the lot.
Ooops. I need also helicopter to rich all 700 acres.

Should have checked that!

Don't bring up clots. Next thing you know the subject will drift and then we'll have Lotowhinge crying his eyes out.

I think they call that stuff Purple Top around here.

GrazonExtra would kill it. But not when it looks like that.

Slash / mow it when it is like that.
Wait for it to re-grow
Slash it again before it flowers
Wait for it to re-sprout
Wait for a bit of rain
Wait for the rain to stop
Hit it with GrazonExtra 350ml/100litre, enough to fully wet the leaves but not dripping off
Make sure there is no rain for a few days

Site back and watch it die (You probably won't see it die. You will just not see it).
DONT SLASH IT AGAIN, like for maybe 6 months plus, even 12 months.
Better to give it another spray if new stuff sprouts.

Repeat for next 7 years.

Alternatively workout how to make Macro's Organic Purple Top Skin Balm or Macro's Purple Top Craft-Brewed Gin.

Not the worst weed though I think.
