iPhones store all photos as landscape even if they are portrait, and then mark the rotation in their EXIF data. Some programs don't read this properly, particularly in Microsloth Windoze, and the photos will be the wrong way around. Best solution is to rotate them in Windoze before uploading, as mentioned.
