Mr Milk said.. it's a no brainer to get the security and catering staff to do only the one job with danger and isolation money paid on top of the regular pay.
How about making the "regular" pay level decent enough to live on comfortably?
The vast majority of these "essential workers" who keep getting given the hero label, are perpetually struggling to make ends meet.
I work alongside a lot of these "heros" who would dearly love to have stable shifts, regular hours, and single employer instead of juggling 2, 3, and even 4 jobs, and not have to juggle credit cards to feed, clothe and house the family.
Pats on the back from the media and government poobahs along with warm fuzzy feelings are appreciated - but warm fuzzys dont pay the bills.
