Sitting on the throne yesterday solving the worlds problems when nose started to run so absentmindedly tore off two sheets of dunny paper to wipe nose . Holy hell I've just wasted two sheets of dunny paper to wipe nose.
The way I see it if the shelves are still empty when I run out my alternatives are.
1. Ditch the toilet brush and use the holder ( bowl it sits in) to use a tersorium. Should be easy to make.
2. Go all French and use a bidet . ( hose out the back and plastic chair with hole cut out.)
3. Cut up newspaper ( not the shiny stuff though)
Beats having punch ups in the supermarket . What happened to the great Aussie spirit of sharing and helping each other out.

Toilet roll hoarders = Liberal voters

Conservatives generally have a greater fear response than leftards. Conservatives are self motivated rather than collectively motivated. Conservatives are less motivated to share resources they see as individually owned.
There's a thesis in it!

To call that a thesis, or a theory, is a bit of an overreach. Perhaps better described as a ramble from someone that spilt their breakfast on their own head...

I was confused......then I realised that for you, being a Conservative or a "labby dog " or whatever you used to say was something you determined on polling day dependent on whether or not you liked the guy or whether you didn't. I forgot you don't go into things that much.

We've got a dog who sneaks into the toilet, pulls dunny rolls off the holder and retires to the couch to chew on them. Our stocks are getting low.

I'll blame modern architects who put the toilet and bathroom behind the one door. Sometimes the door has to be shut. 95% of the time you've just gone in to wash your hands, corona virus and all that.

Why would you touch a door knob after washing your hands?

(This is only a recent thing. I recall my mum consulting with the builder of a house she designed 50 years ago. " No it'll have its own 3'6" by 7' room. I just wouldn't comfortable in a large room- next to a bathtub!." Probably the last house in Australia to be built that way )

Even without the heart attack, you are forced to grab the same handle that everyone else has after you've been the toilet. And then the same thing with the mandatory double entry doors - why don't they open outwards so you can push them with your shoulder, elbow or foot?

All toilet doors in modern houses have a big gap at the top and special hinges that way if someone carks it pushing out a housebrick they use a pinch bar lift the door and it comes of the hinges.

Okay, seriously, where is it all going? The news reports say they are running 24/7 and making double the normal amount, and all the major supermarkets have a limit of 1 pack per customer, but I still have seen any for two weeks now. Empty shelves in every store, even though they tell me they are getting daily deliveries. Are there people buying their 1 packet limit every single day? They must all have a years supply by now? Are these people going to just keep buying 100 times what they need forever? What will make them stop? Is there ever going to be any? I mean, they are making $H1tL0ad5 of the stuff and It's still impossible to get any where I live. It must be going somewhere? Who is getting it and how? This is way beyond the frustration of not having toilet paper, the whole situation simply has been totally perplexed and in absolute wonder.

If so, I reckon next election will be an absolute landslide to the Coalition...

Anyways, as you are a labor party member, may I encourage you to work with the party to get the message out that only Coalition voters are hoarding because of pandemic panic and ask that the party accept no votes, support or finance from such people.

We need the government to build an emergency dunny roll factory, it will provide jobs to offset the other downturn in the economy. we can **** our way out of this
