Edit: I see. The guy in the wagon pulled of the tarmac and then saw a guidepost so swerved back onto the road.

Might have been better off hitting that flexible guide post... Just an extension of the fact that more people get hurt or killed swerving an animal or object rather than just hitting it and copping the minor damage. Either way the car driver was still a muppet, totally avoidable.
