For all the criticism ordinary Americans get for getting around in oversized vehicles, if you look up the specs..... the double cab 4wd version of the F150, their top seller weighs 2100kg. Our top seller, the Hi Lux double cab 4wd weighs 2075kg. Not much in it.
And theirs run on petrol, ours spew out all those carcinogenic diesel vapours!

Well around where I live, the demise of the Falcon ute seems to have created a surge in the number of Ford Rangers around. They are huge. There also seem to be a lot of Amaroks which are also huge.

I used to think that Americans were the only ones that loved big cars, but I was wrong. Watch a carpark these days and see how many impractical huge 4wds people drive around.

Bit hard to park in a normal spot. Dodge twin cab (similar size to F250?) Bunnings underground park, He's right back against the wall and still hangs over by a metre.
Guess they'd be handy to take the family to the beach with all the boogie boards, surfboards, flippers, snorkels, sun shade, multiple bucket and spade sets, towels, water bottles, snacks....

This of course is a hot topic where they are going to sell our Ford rangers alongside F150s. i.e.. Are they that different in the model lineup?

Why else would you buys a sports car.? And modern design being what it is if it's not a 911 or a Mustang you're just going to look like a try-hard with no sense of style. But if you want to save the planet and attract the opposite sex there's the ecoboost 2.3 litre 4 cylinder turbo. The only disadvantage is it doesn't sound like a V8.

Putting a Mustang in the same category as a Porsche 911 is a bogan fantasy. They're not close in any respect.
