[insert sarcasm font] It looks like an awesome product - the video is hardcore & revolutionary...if I were you, I'd buy 10!

For a start - it looks ghey beyond words...and the description is completely false - "you can even go upwind" - maybe in 25kt offshore winds, some swell, massive fin and after straining your back - you may creep a few inches upwind on a 500m tack, but nowhere near as far upwind as a bit of muscle & a paddle will get you. As for downwind - it's a redundant product...

But I'm sure you already knew that.

Sometimes when its windy I've seen people doing stand up paddling and battling the winds, really struggling with what looks like hard work. I've alway thought there must be a better way, something like people have done for thousands of years, something like using a sail to catch the wind and make life easy. Looks like someone has worked it out. Good on them.

All it needs is a roll-up boom, sail-integrated roll-up battens and a paddle that extends to 3.7m with 17 IMCS bend and it could be a winner!
