JIC... When it comes to tech' feedback - recommend WHIRLPOOL.NET.AU....
I have dropped paying for a back-up DONGLE (8+ years) because the NBN has become stable and solid -- ahhh..
I did not think the tolerance would be there in an optic fibre system to keep speeds that low.. must be massive leak / shorting somewhere..
But then again the amount of astonishing technical hoops incorporated into the current NBN to keep the patchwork of technologies working ... who knows...
Hope dries out fast..
