My mouse right click. She no work :-( Bloody Windows 8.1

Anyone have a simple fix?

I'v reset the mouse, changed the batteries. Ive checked, updated & reinstalled the mouse diver.

Ive run sfc/scannow.

Ive rebooted in safe mode.

Ive aslo tried 2 or 3 very dodgey video suggestions showing very complex ways to fix the problem.

None of these has fixed it.

Any idea?

Anyone mention mac it will be red thumb city & straight to heavy weather!!

Upgrade to windows 10 if it's still available to you for free.

clean the fluff out of the optics
otherwise if you got new batteries, throw it and get a new mouse

I found an old hard wired mouse & plugged it into a usb port, it now works. Back to the future!
