has anyone seen the doco on deep brain stimulation using electrodes inserted into the brain for the treatment of parkinsons? i wonder if the same kind of thing is going on here?
I've seen a Deep Brain Stimulation doco, but this technique seems more geared towards eliciting an emotional response (chemical) and the patient then has synaptic responses which gives resize to clarity. Whereas stimulation is hacking at the brain with electricity to elicit a synaptic response.
