Where can I get the original episodes from? Please, take my money.

There is a 4 disc box set out there. Check ABC stores (online??). I got this one a few years back.

I loved monkey the goodies ,Kenny Everat .
Its funny how in England they were considered adult shows & as such had to be on after 9 pm but out here they were kids shows .

You had me intrigued. I remember Kenny Everett and 'the solid gold dancers'. I think that's what they were called.

This brings back memories. He is actually quite funny, but i remember watching some episodes as a kid and they weren't this funny:

I was curious about the episode you mentioned, and I think I found it. It would have been good viewing for a teenage kid at the time. Surprisingly easy to find! Ahh, the good old days of TV...

I got one or two seasons about 70 episodes or so in a double boxed set of monkey magic about 5 years ago off ebay
it wasn't too overly offence price wise but was still 100-150 or so..

That always had me confused. Why was the character looking so feminine and it was supposed to be a monk?

The reboot seemed to make it a girl pretending to be a monk, which made more sense.

channel2 2 on a school night, The Goodies, KE, and Dr Who were pretty good entertainment, and educational

Its always was a woman pretending to be the monk Tripitaka who was killed & she replaces him & pretends to be him so she can free monkey & get the scrolls to save the world .

Some where there is a monkey magic reboot couple of seasons I believe can't remember if Stan or net flicks

Yeah, portable DVD players are at least $50 at Kmart or regular ones must be around $30 now...

It would be good though if someone could digitize these when you buy them though. Its one thing to pay for the DVDs, but it is less an less practical to play them.
