There was article in the newspaper a while ago about a guy who turned the tables on them. Make a genuine sounding reply that looks like you are interested. Then after a couple of email exchanges, tell them that your bank needs them to pay a 'transfer' tax, and that it won't release your payment to them without it coming from his bank account to give your bank confidence that the transaction is bone fide.
Yep, it's the same crap they are trying to pull on you, but they are greedy, and they actually fell for it.
