Saw this 6 foot 5 bloke with a mullet, covered in tatts, arms wider than my whole body,
he looked like the typical WA redneck type, you know the type- no neck, big attitude and no respect for anyone.
he was listening to her play live and he had tears streaming down his face as she sang a piece with no instrumental, just her bone chilling voice.
Just angelic.
I think most people look like that in WA, even the girls! You sure it was a guy?

There is nothing wrong with appreciating a good voice. Its a special gift and I am jealous of people that have it.*
I went to a work function many years ago and the company had Kate Ceberano playing live, and I swear that she didn't need the sound system and her voice was incredible.... and I am sure that there are even better singers out there.
I have to say I love acoustic live sets if you can hear one on a good sound system, or if you are really lucky, live.
*I always tell people I got something in my eye when I hear that sort of voice and pretend that I am not amazed.. Sand. Eye. You understand.
