I just don't get it!!!or
It's Australia. Why do we use Meercats to advertise Health Insurance instead of Emus, Koalas, or Kangaroos, etc????

Some adds just work well
Case in point, I have three Granddaughters, two just in High-school, one just about.
Was traveling on freeway to home, with them a month or so back, and the topic came up in regards to a possible "new" vehicle for me.
All three straight up recommended the "Ford Ranger" and reasoning was that the young lady in the adds sounded like she really knew her stuff, and anybody like that must be telling the truth about the Ford vehicles in comparison to the market competitors. She is never loud in the adds, smiles and shows the advantages of owning such a vehicle.
And nu, couldn't part with my trusted cruiser
But all three girls would if they had too, buy a new Ford vehicle

That Meercat must appeal better to intellectual advantage over Kangaroo and Emus.

That creature symbolize you financial mentor - so must be clever.

Even if you have to choose:

The most gorgeous blonde advising you how to invest your money on stock exchange and simple cartoon rat, I know who you listen to already.

Compare the Market - Compare the Meerkat
Compare the Market - Compare the Rabid wild dogs
Compare the Market - Compare the next introduced species to decimate the native fauna

I don't know but meerkat seems to have the best meerkatabilty for advertising purposes

Pffft,.. I would never be swayed by that sort of rubbish!

Maybe a stretch too far... ??

Meerkats (or Surricates) are social creatures constantly on the look-out for one-another. Perhaps they want the insurance company associated with being part of the social fabric of society and that they've got our backs.... Farkers.

Or maybe Douw Steyn just loves meerkats.
