Maaaate. What is the relevance of those photos?

The photos are taken in different seasons and several hundred metres away from each other.

Yeah, that looks pretty ordinary. Judging by Carnarvon's rainfall figures it's being drought affected too, way under their average rainfall by well over half. Average is still bugger all anyway, so under half doesn't amount to much. And if that second pic was taken in summer - that's never a good look compared to winter, which was also drier than usual. What time of year was the first one taken Lephrechaun, I'm guessing about August? Most people only see the Bluff during the months it looks lush (hahah, yeah, well, mid/north WA lush anyway).

Looks to be a bit of green still amongst those shrubs if you look closely. You might be surprised what a bit of rain, an average drop of 20 degrees and 6 points down on the UV index will do.

The goats have to go though, not good. Good shark bait maybe...?

It has nothing to do with the weather, go and visit 17 mile 13 miles south of the bluff its in pristine condition.

Maaate , up this way 99.99% of the native shrubs are not deciduous including these wattles. The last pic is from 2010, all of those shrubs have died and were used for kindling . Now in 2014 there is nothing left . Check Red Bluff quobba station facebook page , even they are using photos from 2006 to promote how green the place is now in 2014 it didn't fool me though I asked them could they authenticate the photos by re taking them with someone standing next to the shrubs , my request was deleted by the fraudulent rentcollector .

Not a major swerve off the topic at all in my opinion [:D,

simply shows that whenever you post about stolen wet suits or damage by goats, the common factor is your hatred for the lease holder.
Anyone may assume that there could be a reason.

Did he drop in on you?

My hatred is not of the leaseholder it what he has allowed to happen . You know very little about whats going on and what you do know and what you say are very petty and pedantic without any real concern for the
coast . So I must ask what is your concern in this matter ?

Doesn't look like there's much left for them to eat.

Don't worry. They'll die soon.

No, like sharks have, they will turn on us soon.

Good, I will bankroll any goat who takes up the challenge.

Just cause I agree with ya...

Doesn't mean you have to post more photos of goat desolation.

Why not post some goat recipes instead?

I'm not against killing goats Oliver. Maybe we can go out with Tim from Quobba station and ping a few. Leprechaun is welcome to join us. Although we have to be mindful that he will likely have a limited ability to align things..

We will have to keep a close eye on Leprechaun when he uses the rifle, given that my eight year old recognises Leprechaun's before and after photos are out of alignment and not of the same scene.

After aligning himself to shoot a goat in the distance, Leprechaun will pull the trigger and very likely shoot the right rear tyre instead!

Camp of the Goat.

Seriously though it does seem an easy solution to fix them up or even fence the place off maybee. Goat soup. I wonder if you can milk the buggers. That would save having to use that powdered stuff in the morning brew.

Just make sure his name ain't Billy.

went past the turnoff 2 weeks ago , them goats is outa control!!!

They sure are out of control . The problem is enough isn't being done by the station leaseholders because the goats are worth money to them . They just play the blame game and dont really care about the environment . Goats were declared invasive pests in 1966 and in 2002 the pastoral lobby got the laws changed because of the potential of the live goat export market . They said it would be the saviour of the poor pastoralists on the rangelands . Now thats over the goats are still there . I guess there waiting for the market to come back so they are reluctant to shoot them . The Bluff is a special tourism lease you'd think the leaseholder would want to keep it in good condition , he's been aware of this for a long time and has failed in his duty of care to the environment . Negligent land management practices . Have a look at a facebook page called ' friends of the Bluff ' there are lots of before and after shots of the damage and info on whats been allowed to happen .

Glad to see you?re very keen to lessen the environmental impact on Australia from non-native plants and animals. I am very willing to help out, so just Let me know when ya ready, and I will help ya pack and take you to the airport.
