It's become apparent that my blatant honesty on forums is probably causing problems in my professional life. I think I need to leave Seabreeze and Messenger and Facebook.

I understand whats you are saying 'bout the problem.

But the solution seems a little far fetched.

Wouldn't it be easier (and eminently more sensible) to leave your professional life ?

may even start an onlyfans account to help pay the bills (you know, just me posing with new boards/new sails etc)

There's a good argument for having a different identity on forums. I am puzzled why there is an issue but anyway...

Not really an argument, more signs of a psychological condition. Dissociate Identity Disorder, DID, also known as multiple personality disorder.
As Highlander said 'there can be only one.'

I think that's a misdiagnosis. CCC, Chameleonic Communication Condition, is an adaptive response to the anonymising argumentative (AA) possibilities on the interwebs. People with well developed CCC can have long arguments in public with themselves using more than one username and not be thought worse of by casual onlookers. Try to get away with sitting on a park bench or a corner of the pub and argue loudly with yourself for comparison.

I think there might be a protocol to leaving seabreeze.com.au.

First you say ciao
Then you stay and abuse everybody
Then you get banned
Then you say ciao again
Then you stay but get banned a few more times
Then you change your username five times
Holy-guacamole, its not over yet;
Then you deny your new username is you, even though everyone knows it
Then you tell everyone how much smarter you are than them
Then you call everybody morons
Then you realise you ****ed up in the most basic of arguments, but you still fight to the end claiming you didn't
Then you tell everyone its not you its them
Then you cry to the mods and get them to edit your posts and delete your threads
Then you go full quack, leave seabreeze and move interstate.

Possibly all of the above masquerading as knowledge.

I keep calling people in the real world "hooked in kooks" it was a bit weird at first but now that the checkout chick is a robot and my doctor is a robot and my car is a robot theyre really hasnt been a better time to just swear like a 14 yr old playing call of duty at everyone in public

So up the anti OP and go tea bag a homeless person plenty of tents around with council/telstra wifi

The problem is... the forum sucks you in. I've been like psychojoe thinking the forum is a bunch of life ****ed curmudgeony arse licking croney suck holes, and you think their all dead to me, and so you leave. But, Seabreeze site has those wonderful set of graphs with the graphical tides, which BOM has never had the foresight/imagination to invent the concept first on their own web site. So, you sit there on a Friday night sipping your beer fumble ****ing about curmudgeony arse licking croney suck holes looking at those graphs. And after a while, you accidently click on the forum link due to muscle memory, and... hey ****, He's back !!

Formula Nova has been responsible for some provocative posts. Sure maybe the odd thread like the one where he discussed the merits of series three on the walking Dead doesn't cut it, but I recall he started a thread on Virtue Signalling that was kinda ok.

Since psychojoe is worried about employment, maybe everybody can reflect on this Thought For the Day

Employees are employed, so why aren't referees referred?

Not good enough!

I prefer PMac's occassional reference to me as one of the 'others' as far more provocative. It's always good to have a mention when he is railng against society and its obvious conspiracies. It gives me the validation that I need.

What ever happened to PMac? Did he find a brand of alfoil that actually worked?

mmmm, makes ya think don't it..

Retirees are retired, but what about bumblebees, are they bumbled ?

Is an addressee addressed ?

An appointee is appointed, and if they are appointed to a committee they also been committed.

Likewise a detainee is detained, but then we have a trainee, who is not trained.

And a jamboree, what's that all about ?

The only way I can explain it is that referees don't obey the rules.
In that, they are just like goalees.

At a rough guess, I'd say it's because english is a mixture of so many ancient sources, with different grammar rules.

At least we didn' end up with strange gender rules for inanimate objects.
