Long time since I watched it.
How's the sound track MSN ?
Would you rate it better than say... Searching for Sugarman ?
Do you think the music of the Easy Rider generation will have the same life-changing impact that Rodriguez had on you all those years ago ?
Soundtrack is great. I grew up in same era as Albo, in the post punk era, I enjoyed listening to Joy Division, Gun Club, Birthday Party Saints, The Cure hahaha. I don't listen to that stuff so much any more: find it didn't age that well for me. More of a nostalgic vibe.
But I really enjoyed the Easy Rider soundtrack, the movie itself, was ok, but struck me as dated. I watch a lot of film.
Always interesting seeing something that you loved decades later to see if it still stacks up.
Searching for Sugarman is like a Sth African/Seabreeze niche thing.
I define Rodriguez and Paul Kelly as whinge rock - always complaining.
Good to listen to if you lose a job, a girlfriend, or if your car breaks down somewhere far away.
Hilly, are you just happy 24/7? If you are never sad, how do you really know if you are happy?
