"Standard" depends on where you live. In the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, a standard trailer is a five horse gooseneck trailer with a fully fitted luxury living area at the front.
On the Northern Beaches it might be a three horse fully enclosed angled trailer with basic camping facilities up front (and don't forget the generator)
It always made our two horse straight load Kara Kara look very povo and definitely sub-standard. But if sub-standard is what you want, width is easy, but where do you want length measured from ,given the rounded front?

Eastern Sydney, where is that? seems Ive heard about that place before. Everyone trips over their noses in the air...correct?
Just std povo float, length along side would give me a rough idea.
Looking at converting one to a mobile NON FOOD shop for markets etc.

Bloody Land Lice they are, the source of all misery, best not to get involved in them in any way shape or form!

If your missus or kids gets involved with them divorce them immediately, save the trouble later..

I'm joking but I'm not

For a very basic, two horse front load trailer, our Kara Kara is

1.64 internal width
About 2.8 overall internal length of which 1.8 is at full width before rounding off to the front.

But I'm sure all the brands are slightly different and if it is an angle load trailer it will be wider.

But recognize if you are going to re-purpose one that the floors are very heavily built to take the weight of a horse, so they are inherently heavy trailers.

Here's the Kara Kara site with all the measurements of simple straight load floats (ours is a 25 year old version of the top one).
karakar.com.au/range/straight-loads/

I'm sure you can explore other configurations from there.
