Probably waits around in the ocean for ages and then when somebody else boats past yells at them .. hey mate do you mind launching me ?
Then starts randomly waving their arms about as if the boat they don't know somehow miraculously knows the exact same sign language they seem to think is both standard and common knowledge. Then they start motoring into wind / away from wind in the same direction as the boat launching them whilst yelling very loudly how much of an idiot this kind boat is who tried to help them.
When the kite is finally up they probably get dragged 200 nm in 3 seconds, crash into a couple of islands and then piss off without even acknowledging the assistance the other boat gave them, even though they could have used the universally recognized hand signal of a thank-you wave.
Just a hunch.
