Hail warning Geraldton just got flogged(pics)

Geraldton just got a hail flogging the size of 20 cent pieces ........and last time this happened Perth coped golf ball hail the next morning causing extensive damage

Thanks for the heads-up. Radar shows storms/rain hitting Lano now, putting the breakables/dentables under cover now. Cheers.

Got a bit of smaller hail in Kalbarri today before that. So yeah, seems to get bigger the further south it goes. Look out Perth.

You might get a second chance today Mark. BoM have released alerts to expect severe thunderstorms until later tonight. Maybe take the fourby out to do a bit of storm chasing.

If you live west of a line from Carnarvon to Gascoyne Junction to Mount Magnet to York to Mandurah you should take action and stay safe with the start of bad thunderstorms.

This includes people in, near and between the following towns: Kalbarri, Northampton, Geraldton, Jurien Bay, Dalwallinu and the Perth Metropolitan area. This does not include Denham and Mandurah and surrounding areas.
